Well since i live in hong kong i dont go camping much. Ive been camping around 6 times over 16 years (and by camping i mean using a tent somewhere in the wild not.....staying at a holiday camp) All of them where part of the Hong Kong Award for Young people Bronze and Silver expiditions. However i have never once lighted or seen a camp fire. this time on my last Silver expidition a really cool english teacher from spain came along, he didnt seem to mind even if we called him by his first name (i would think we were quite rude to call him that...normally it would be Mr. blabla). He lighted the first campfire i ever saw, well problely the first campfire that everyone saw at the time. And it was awsome, just watching those logs burn..........the fire dancing in our faces, every moment the fire was at a different pose, i was completely lost as to how i should take a picture of it.....and heres on with just the campfire, it wasnt exactly big enough to produce alot of light to light up all the surroundings so i can take a proper shot of everyone around the campfire. But who knows what my longer exposured did ;) i'll have to finish looking through my other shots too.

FLicker of the Fire is good. =]
Wow honestly! I've never camped in Hong Kong before hahaha :P darn... nice shot, very clean, less flicker of the fire though, but very good shot.
you should try camping, there are alot of camping sites that are really close to the major roads while far enough not to hear traffic, the best ones are the ones next to the sea, Big wave bay and Hoi Ha wan has lots of good camping sites around, one time i had to stay on the beach of Big wave bay and god it was good, cool sea breezes (maybe abit too cold at night) somewhat more starry night, and the big waves that crashes onto the beach sounds awsome :D.
